We recommend you to go through this section before booking the studio.

What if my shoot exceeds booked time?

There is an additional charge of Rs 900/- per hour if your shoot exceeds and by default you are upgraded to nearest package if your time exceeds towards it. For example if your original booking was for 2 Hours Package and your shoot is extended to 5 hours, then you will charged for 5 hours package and not 2 hours package + additional hours x 3. The charges would be client leaning.

I am not a professional, can I still rent the studio?

Yes.

SLAP Studios is open to ALL levels of photographers, including the general public. Whether you have an expensive DSLR or a point-and-shoot camera, you are welcome to use the studio.

Do you have a changing room?

Yes! We do have a changing area.

Can I bring my own back drops & lights?

Yes! You can use what’s available in the space and are welcome to bring your own as well. If it fits through the door and does not damage the studio, you are welcome to bring it in. For certain lights, you may have to pay additional electricity charges. Remember that your session needs to include prep and take-down time.

Do you rent of lights for outdoor use?

Yes. We have a two light setup with softboxes, stands and cable specifically for rentals.

Is there a security deposit for lights?

No. However, we do take a signed cheque of Rs 30,000/- as a security & a local trusted reference. This cheque is given back as soon as the equipments are returned in working condition. However, if the lights or any equipments are damaged, you will have to pay the full amount of the damaged item, Example, If the stand is damaged, and the price of a new stand is Rs2000/- ; you will have to pay Rs 2000/- . If the lights are damaged in anyway, the security cheque will be deposited in our account and the difference will be given to your after covering all the repairing or replacement costs.

Do you provide camera on rent?

In certain cases, we do rent out cameras and lenses at additional charges.

Do you have internet?

Yes. we have free WIFI.

Is there an elevator?

Yes

Incase of power outage, do you have a generator or a backup power supply?

No we do not have a generator or a back up power. In Rajkot, the power cuts are rare, we have not faced any major issues due to power cuts.

Do you have a smoking zone?

No we do not have a smoking zone. It is prohibited in the entire building.

Can we play music?

We have studio grade monitors and an amplifier. You can also connect upto 4 mics and laptops/mobile phones etc.  if you choose to.

Can I bring pets?

Pets on leash are welcome only if they owners take full responsibility and clean up after them. Kindly inform us before the schedule.

Where are you located?

We are located in the centre of Rajkot city in Gujarat.

Is the studio available for social or commercial events?

Yes.

Can I visit the studio?

To visit any of the studios before booking, please contact us at +91 9512790017/ 20, or Email us at info@slapstudios.com. Arriving un- announced is generally not feasible, as it might be occupied on that day, or can be closed on the day of your visit.

How can I book the studio?

You can sign up on the website and then go to the BOOK STUDIO tab and follow the steps to book your slot.

How should I pay you?

We accept cash, online transfers, UPI, RTGS, IMPS and cheques. Please note that payment through cheque is subject to realisation. Cheque should be made in favour of "SLAP Studios LLP". For online transfer, please use the following info:

Do I have to pay additional tax?

Yes, as per government guidelines, all our services incur 18% GST with is additional.

When does booking time start & end?

Booking time includes setup time and winding off time. Please include this factor in your time calculation to avoid overtime charges.

Do you charge for paper backdrop?

3ft of backdrop is included with rent. Any dirt, tears or signs of use after first 3 ft will be charged at Rs 200 per ft.

Incase of any damages, who is responsible?

Studio user is bears all expenses. Damages to studio fixtures or equipment should be reported immediately. Damages will be charged at actuals to the person who has made the booking.

Do you have a make up artist, model, spot boy?

We do not have in-house crew for Makeup, Styling, Set designs, Models, Spot  Boys etc, but we can provide reference to external resources. Charges for such   are to be negotiated directly between the client and service provider. In few   cases, we may also provide the same.

Do you provide insurance?

We do not provide any form of insurance or liability protection in case of any mishap to equipment and/or crews. The person hiring the studio is responsible for any such liabilities

Do you have a make up artist, model, spot boy?

We do not have in-house crew for Makeup, Styling, Set designs, Models, Spot  Boys etc, but we can provide reference to external resources. Charges for such   are to be negotiated directly between the client and service provider. In few   cases, we may also provide the same.

Can I cancel my booking?

The policy is as follows:
• 7 days or more prior to session: Full refund
• 6 days prior to session: 25% of the session fee will be refunded
• within 72 hours of the session: No refund
